Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had quite a dramatic year — from his epic Twitter rants and meltdown to her ongoing beef with sister Kourtney — but the two decided to put all that behind them and take a vacation to Uganda. They even went on a safari with five-year-old daughter North! Read on to see the pics.
On Kim’s Instagram Stories, you could hear her asking her little girl, “North, do you see the giraffes?” as a group of the animals came into focus.
The 37-year-old shared several more videos of the giraffes before showing a pic of herself with North and Kanye in a vehicle as they marveled at the landscape.
The family has been in the country since Saturday, and so far everything has gone without a hitch. Even Kanye seemed to be in a great mood. In fact, he was back on Twitter (after recently wiping his account clean) posting videos of his Ugandan fans cheering at his family’s presence.

Earlier this week, Kimye visited Yoweri K Museveni, the President of Uganda, and even gifted him with a pair of sneakers — so very Kanye.
Yoweri was clearly thrilled with the visit, because shortly after he tweeted “I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and @KimKardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda's tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa.”
