Kim Kardashian Suffering Pigmentation Loss Amid Psoriasis Battle

Kim Kardashian is suffering from pigmentation loss amid her psoriasis battle, and she shared a photo with her 114 million fans before asking them if they've ever had a similar experience with the condition.
"Does anyone else get pigment loss after their psoriasis clears???” she captioned a photo of her patchy leg on her Instagram stories.
According to the National Psoriasis Foundation, the aftermath of Kim's flare-up is incredibly common.
"Psoriasis plaques and other types of inflammation may leave behind hyperpigmentation (dark patches) or hypopigmentation (light spots), which can be more noticeable on darker skin," their website explained.

Kim was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease in 2011 and has tried virtually everything to combat the symptoms. She recently launched her line of KKW Beauty body foundation, which she uses to cover her scaly patches when she needs to look picture perfect.
“I’ve learned to live with and not be insecure of my psoriasis, but for days when I want to just cover it up I use this body makeup. My formula is so creamy and buildable and has a smooth satin finish. It builds easily for a more full coverage if needed," she revealed during a product demo on social media.
Her condition has worsened over the years and recently spread to both her face and her groin. "I think the time has come I start a medication for psoriasis. I’ve never seen it like this before and I can’t even cover it at this point. It’s taken over my body. Has anyone tried a medication for psoriasis & what kind works best? Need help ASAP!!!" she tweeted in December 2018.
