Fans Slam Kim Kardashian For Using The ‘R-Word’ In Instagram Video

Kim Kardashian is in trouble with fans. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star let the “R-word” slip in an Instagram story on Halloween night, and now followers are slamming the mom of three for her outdated and insensitive word choice.
On Wednesday night, Kim uploaded a clip of her at her sister Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party. In the video, she talks with her former assistant Stephanie Shepherd, who tells Kim her costume is “my favorite of the night.”
Kim dressed up as a ‘90s Pamela Anderson, but several of the guests at the party failed to guess who she was. “Nobody knows who I am!” Kim complained, before dropping the “R-word.”
Fans took to Twitter to bash Kim’s use of the word. “Why is it still acceptable that @KimKardashian uses this kind of disrespectful rhetoric in 2018?” one follower slammed.

“As a special education teacher this word is the most disrespectful word,” said another.
Kim eventually deleted the video, but fans think she needs to do more to make up for her blatant mistake. “As a parent of a developmentally delayed young adult, I have to say it does hurt. I cringe a little when I read it, especially from someone who should know better. I would love for her to donate her millions to Special Olympics, or local school system,” one follower suggested.
