Kim Kardashian 'Too Raw' To Return To Fashion Week One Year After Her Robbery
It's been a year since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, and she's still not over the traumatizing ordeal. This year, she won't be returning to Paris Fashion Week, and will instead be keeping a low profile.
Kim's skipping out on the runways and parties in order to heal from the trauma, according to Us Weekly. On October 3, 2016, the makeup mogul was gagged and robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry in her hotel room.
Afterwards, Kim took a three-month long social media break. “I think in life, things happen to you for a reason and you really do have to pay attention, and I got the message," she told The View in June. "I just learned so much and something had to change, just of how I live my life. The things that were important to me before and the things I liked to show off before are definitely not the things I like to show off now."
Ten people have been charged in connection with Kim's robbery. Viewers watched the aftermath unfold on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a decision Khloe recently said she regrets.
After an emotional ordeal like the robbery, it's no wonder Kim isn't ready to return to Paris.
At least she has the good luck charm North gave her after the robbery, a plastic treasure box full of fake jewels. "Mommy, this will keep you safe when you go to Paris," she told Kim. So sweet!
