Kim Zolciak-Biermann isn’t afraid to step out of her comfort zone! On Monday, March 11, the Don’t Be Tardy star said goodbye to her trademark blonde hair and debuted a sultry brunette hairstyle on Instagram.
In the selfie posted to her account, the 40-year-old and her daughter Brielle pouted and posed for the camera.
Though Brielle’s hair was its usual blonde, her mom was rocking some dark brown locks.
Under the photo, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum treated her followers to a quick rundown on her hair history. “Fun facts,” she wrote in the caption, "I had dark hair almost black until I was about 15, that’s when I started coloring it!”

“My mom is a hairdresser so I was always playing around with color,” she continued. “I went blonder and blonder and have never looked back!”
Though the Bravo celebrity enjoyed the darker look for one day, fans shouldn’t get too attached. “I don’t miss the dark hair,” she typed before adding, “Although I would take it over all my gray any day.”
