Kodak Black wants Zendaya to be his Valentine on this very special day of love. The rapper penned a love poem to the actress on Friday, February 14, and posted it on Instagram.
"Zoolin' in an icebox. Frozen in time," the "Tunnel Vision" singer, 22, wrote. "But mentally you're my Valentine. Hope I made you smile with this poem."
"I'm thinking bout you all the way home. P.S. please don't make me beat Spider-Man up," Kodak's poem continued. He tagged Zendaya, 23, in his caption and wrote the words, "Because Of You." "Because Of You" is also the name of the Florida's native's latest song, which dropped on February 13.
Fans wrote their thoughts on Kodak's love poem in the comments section. "Shoot your shot #freekodakblack," one said. "A modern day William Shakespeare," joked another follower. One added, "Shoot ya shot yak!!!"
"Dude got the confidence to shoot his shot in prison, that's inspiration right there ????," one fan commented. Kodak was sentenced to 46 months in prison in November 2019 on weapons charges.
The love note also referenced the Marvel character, Spider-Man, who is currently portrayed by Tom Holland. Zendaya starred with Tom, 23, in the action flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming and its 2019 sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Rumors that the British-born actor and the Disney Channel alum were dating go back to 2017 when Spider-Man: Homecoming was released into theaters. While the two never confirmed they ever dated, they have maintained a strong friendship over the years.
Zendaya has been most recently linked to her Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi. The pair first sparked relationship rumors in August 2019 when they were spotted getting close in Greece. "They looked like they were getting a little cozy. At one point, they were walking with each other and being a little flirty," an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time.
Earlier this month, The Kissing Booth star, 22, and the "Replay" singer showed off PDA during Broadway date night in New York City. They saw the musical Dear Evan Hansen and fans spotted them kissing in the big city.“They were exchanging whispers and glances for sure,” an insider divulged to People. “They seemed very relaxed around each other and had an ease about them. It looked very romantic.”
