Lisa Vanderpump made it to Kentucky for Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s wedding after all! The Vanderpump Rules boss wasn’t expected to make it for their nuptials after her mother passed away in England on June 17.
Lisa, 58, wasn’t expected to make it to the June 29 wedding following the death of her mother.
“Unfortunately, Lisa probably isn’t going to be able to make it because of her mother’s passing, which is so sad,” Brittany, 30, told People ahead of the wedding.
A source also confirmed to RadarOnline.com, “Lisa will not be able to go to the wedding. They have reached out to send their condolences, and accept she needs to step away from filming the show right now so she can attend to her family.”

However, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum appeared to have a change in heart. The bride’s mother, Sherri, posted a photo on Instagram on June 28 with Lisa and her husband Ken Todd. “Lisa & Ken Vanderpump has made it to KY?,” she revealed.
Lisa was supposed to officiate the wedding. She allegedly asked Lance Bass to do the honors after her mother passed away. It is unclear whether the restaurateur will take over the role now that she arrived.
The reality star’s loss comes a little over a year after her twin brother Mark Vanderpump, 59, committed suicide. "She’s absolutely devastated at losing her mother when she is still grieving over the loss of her brother," her rep told Radar.
