Lisa Vanderpump Wants To Reconcile With Denise Richards Amid Her Absence From Filming 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills'
Denise Richards hasn't been around much to film Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to her busy schedule and her relationship with her fellow castmates has become strained. However, former star Lisa Vanderpump is open to becoming friends with the Wild Things actress and wants to reconnect.
Denise, 48, joined the Bravo franchise in season nine and Lisa, 59, departed after the season concluded. Denise has been absent from shooting the show since October due to her hectic acting schedule and being a full time mom to her three kids — Sam, 15, Lola, 14, and Eloise, 8.
Her absence has caused somewhat of rift between her other castmates and her busy life has made it tough for her to film. “She’s definitely not as close to a lot of the ladies as she was last season and her friendships with them are not what they once were,” a source told HollywoodLife.com about Denise's relationship with her fellow housewives. “They’re all upset that she’s never around and find it really unfair, but Denise is busy working. They all feel like they have to work too, so she should want to come to things as much as they do and she doesn’t.”
However, the British-born restaurateur might be what Denise needs to smooth things over with her costars.

“Denise and Lisa Vanderpump have not spoken in months,” another insider revealed. “Lisa was really surprised when she heard Denise took her husband Aaron Phypers to TomTom over the summer because Lisa figured if Denise was coming, she would’ve called her so she felt she did it for her own exposure and press. She would’ve loved to have set Denise up.”
As OK! readers know, the TomTom bar is a joint venture between LVP and her Vanderpump Rules costars Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.
The source added, “Lisa likes Denise and would totally be open to having a conversation with her. She heard she was having a tough season.” On December 4, Lisa revealed that Bravo contacted her to return to the series. She told Us Weekly, “Bravo, even you know, said to me, ‘What about in the future?’ I’m like, This is now. And that’s then. I’m really in a different place in my life now."
