Earlier this month, Lori Harvey was charged in connection to an alleged hit and run incident that took place in October 2019. On Tuesday, January 21, the 23-year-old model entered a not guilty plea as she continues to await her pretrial date.
According to RadarOnline.com, Lori’s attorney, Blair Berk, entered the plea on her behalf. A pretrial hearing is slated to take place on February 28.
As OK! readers might recall, the Memphis native was charged with one count of resisting, delaying, and obstructing a peace officer. She was also charged with one count of hit and run that resulted in property damage.
On October 20, 2019, Lori was reportedly texting and driving when she crashed her Mercedes G Wagon into another car. At the scene of the accident, Lori’s vehicle was flipped on its side, her windshield was shattered, airbags were deployed and more.
According to a witness, Lori was pulled to safety by the man in the other vehicle. After Lori allegedly attempted to flee the scene, she was greeted by a police officer. Prior to getting arrested, Lori called her stepfather, Steve Harvey, on FaceTime. Law enforcement concluded that Lori was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
Despite her legal drama, Lori appears to be enjoying her love life with boyfriend, Future. Earlier this month, Lori and the rapper went on a vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica, in honor of her 23rd birthday. She also invited several of her friends including Kylie Jenner’s former bestie, Jordyn Woods, singer Teyana Taylor, actress Ryan Destiny, singer Normani and more.
In several photos, Lori smiled from ear-to-ear. On the night of her big day, Lori posted a snap with her beau to social media. Keeping her caption short and sweet, Lori thanked the “Mask Off” musician for a memorable trip. “You really outdid yourself, thank you @future,” she wrote.
Like Lori, Future, 36, also posted several moments from the vacation to social media. In a photo uploaded to Instagram, Future posed in an enormous pool with his bikini-clad girlfriend. “Life Is Good,” he wrote.
