Talk about a real-life miracle! Maddie Aldridge was back on the basketball court just two weeks after her scary near-drowning ATV incident.
Jamie Lynn Spears shared a video on Tuesday of her 8-year-old daughter as she practiced basketball drills, with the caption: “1st Basketball practice today #Godisgood.”
As readers know, Maddie was submerged under water for several minutes after her off-road vehicle flipped into a pond at the family’s Louisiana home on Feb. 5.

After being airlifted to the Children’s Hospital in New Orleans – where she was in stable but critical condition – Maddie regained consciousness two days later and showed no “neurological consequences from the accident.”
Maddie was released from the hospital on Feb. 10 and has been slowly returning to her normal life.
