While Brad Pitt may not be joining Angelina Jolie the next time she visits Maddox at college, he seems okay with that notion. While walking around in South Korea (his new home) the 18-year-old snubbed his father and opened up about his estranged relationship with the Brad.
While Angelina, 44, and Brad, 55, tried their best to keep their personal life private over the years, Maddox, 18, doesn't seem to have a care in the world when it comes to airing his family's dirty laundry.
As OK! readers know, the 18-year-old recently started his freshman year at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea where he will reportedly be studying biochemistry.
Just a few weeks after his mom helped him get settled in his dorm on August 22 and Maddox is already making plenty of friends and learning the country's native language! While chatting with In Touch in South Korea, he was asked when he thinks his father will be visiting him on campus.
Maddox replied, “Um, I don’t know about that…what’s happening.” He then added, "Whatever happens, happens,” when asked whether or not his relationship with the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor is over for good.
After Angelina adopted Maddox in 2002 from an orphanage in Cambodia, Brad also adopted him in 2006. But 10 years later, the father and son reportedly got into an altercation in 2016, which ultimately led to Angelina filing for divorce.

Maddox's comments regarding his estranged relationship with the 55-year-old come just a few weeks after a source told Us Weekly that he “doesn’t really see himself as Brad's son." Although, another insider explained, "He is very close with Angie."
The former couple also shares five other children, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.
Brad rarely publicly talks about his children but Angelina recently opened up about “rediscovering” herself while raises teenagers in an interview with Hello!
"When your children are little you feel more 'mommy,'" she said. "When they are teenagers, you start to remember yourself as a teenager. You see them going to punk clubs, and you wonder why you can't go. I'm in this fun moment where I’m rediscovering myself."
