Meghan Markle is determined to enjoy every last minute of her “normal” life before she marries Prince Harry and officially becomes a member of the royal family. Although the former Suits actress has plenty of wedding planning to keep her busy, an insider says that Meghan isn’t planning on spending the next few months hanging out at palaces and picking out china patterns. Before officially tying the knot with Harry next year, Meghan plans to use her last few months of freedom to travel and visit family and friends before settling into her new life at Kensington Palace, a palace official told ET.
Meghan and Harry attended their first official royal engagement last week when they visited the town of Nottingham. Meghan was a natural as she shook hands with fans and met with people at the Nottingham Contemporary Exhibition Center.
But by this past Monday, Prince Harry was already back to doing engagements solo! The prince attended the London Fire Brigade carol service at Westminster Cathedral without Meghan by his side.

Prior to moving to London to be with Harry, Meghan spent years in the city of Toronto, where she filmed the show Suits. However, the actress is an L.A. native, so she may want to return to her hometown before she officially settles into life in London.
As OK! readers know, Harry and Meghan are set to wed in May 2018 at St. George’s Chapel, located at the family’s country home, Windsor Castle. The Queen was spotted touring the property on horseback just yesterday.
