Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled from Canada to London ahead of their shocking announcement that they plan to step down as senior members of the royal family, but they didn't bring baby Archie with them. It's unclear why Meghan and Harry chose to leave Archie, 8 months, behind in Canada. People reported that Jessica is looking after the child, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to return to the country soon to reunite with him. Jessica's three children served as page boys and a flower girl at Meghan and Harry's wedding in May 2018. The stylist seemingly showed her support for the former Suits star on Instagram after the bombshell news made headlines. "A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink," a quote she posted read.

"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages," the pair wrote on their official Instagram account.

They continued, "This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support."

William is reportedly none too pleased that Meghan and Harry created chaos in the monarchy just one day before wife Kate Middleton's 38th birthday. "Harry and Meghan rubbed salt into the wounds by making the huge announcement a day before Kate’s birthday. It hasn’t gone down well with William," a source told Us Weekly.
