Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took to their joint Instagram account on Tuesday, December 31 to reflect back on their favorite moments of 2019. They posted a video montage set to Coldplay's hit "Clocks," and they included a never-before-seen pic of baby Archie from their holiday celebrations in Canada.
"Looking back at 2019 ... Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," they captioned the clip. Prince Harry held their son as they stood in front of a blue lake all bundled up in the sweet new image.
"I almost didn't recognize Archie. He's so grown up! He's also starting to look exactly like Meghan did as a baby," one fan wrote in the comments section of the post. "What a beautiful little family. You guys certainly had an eventful 2019! Now give us another royal cutie in 2020," another person added. "Meghan and Harry are the definition of class. They never fail to highlight important causes and people," a third person noted.
Rumors of a rift between Harry and Meghan and Prince William and Kate Middleton have been circulating in the past year, so fans thought it was quite telling which moments they selected to be included in the video montage. There was a photo of Meghan and Kate in the stands at Wimbledon together. There was also a photo of Harry and William with their father Prince Charles. The pair included snippets from their royal tour in Africa, their appearance at the Invictus Games, and baby Archie's christening, among others.

Buckingham Palace announced in November that Meghan and Harry would not be joining the rest of the royal family for Christmas at Sandringham. "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking forward to extended family time towards the end of this month. Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, the couple will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland. This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the royal family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen," the statement read.
Their spokesperson confirmed on December 20 that they had decided to spend the holidays in Canada. Just three days later, they released their family Christmas card to the public.
It was revealed on December 30 that the lovebirds were shacking up at a private $13 million waterfront mansion in Canada. They reportedly plan to ring in 2020 at the property.
