While Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas get ready to walk down the aisle in India this weekend, two well-known guests that will not be making the celebrations are pregnant Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Scroll through to get all the details!
Despite making the trip across the pond and attending the royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England back in May, a source recently told US Magazine that Meghan and Harry will not be going to the Duchess' good friend's wedding in India.
“Meghan will not be going to Priyanka’s wedding, especially now that she is pregnant," another source told the publication. In addition to expecting, Meghan obviously has a whole new plate of responsibilities but since the women have become such good friends over the last few years, fans imagine Priyanka is pretty bummed about the royal's absence.
While Meghan deleted all of her social media accounts in January 2018, there are still a few old photos of the besties on Priyanka's Instagram. According to Bustle, the pair apparently met at Elle's Women In Television Celebration dinner in January 2016. "We bonded as actors,” the Indian star told People in September 2017 — Priyanka on Quantico and Meghan, until recently, on Suits. “We just became friends, as two girls would.”
The 36-year-old and her fiancé are set to tie the knot in India this weekend, and have already begun their prenuptial celebrations, including a traditional a Puja — a Hindu pre-marriage ritual.
The royals have been keeping busy lately. Earlier this week it was announced that the soon-to-be-parents are set to move sometime in 2019 from their current home to a Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England, prior to the birth of their first born.
