Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly seen arriving in Rome, Italy on Thursday, September 19 for good friend and designer Misha Nonoo’s wedding the following day. Ahead of their quick weekend getaway, the couple is taking their 4-month-old son Archie on his first ever royal tour to South Africa.
Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, made time on their busy schedules for Misha, 31, and her fiancé Michael "Mikey" Hess’ special day on Friday, September 20. Although it’s unclear if they brought baby Archie, as he was not photographed with his parents.
During a recent interview, Misha, who very rarely talks about her longtime friendship with Meghan, revealed that she met the former actress in Miami at Art Basel in 2011. "She is the most generous, the most genuine person,” the fashion designer told The New York Times on September 12. “She is such a sister in the sense that, you know, if you’re her friend, she’ll do anything for you.”
According to multiple reports, Misha is said to have set up Meghan and Harry on a blind date back in 2016.
The Sun reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex flew to the European country on a commercial flight, just a few weeks after they were criticized for using a private jet to go a vacation in France and Ibiza, Spain. Meghan also flew commercial to watch her bestie Serena Williams play in the U.S. Open in New York on September 6.

On Monday, September 23, the former Suits star and the Prince are set to embark on their royal trip to South Africa. They will likely use the royal family’s private jet.
According to HELLO! magazine, other guests set to attend the ceremony are Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, Jared Kushner and his brother Joshua Kushner, who is bringing along his supermodel wife Karlie Kloss.
A week before their European getaway, Meghan ended her maternity leave and stepped out for her first work appearance on September 12. The brunette launched a clothing line with Smart Works, which aims to provide unemployed women with free clothes and job interview training.
