Ouch! Megyn Kelly Makes Her 'TODAY' Show Debut & COMPLETELY Ignores Hoda Kotb
June 1 2017, Updated 4:35 p.m. ET
Today, Megyn Kelly made her on-air debut at NBC, and at the beginning of her first segment, she totally blew off co-anchor Hoda Kotb!
While introducing her first on-air interview on the Today show, Kelly told co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer how happy she was to be part of the team — and she completely ignored Kotb who was sitting at the table with Guthrie and Lauer!
Kotb threw her hands up in mock disbelief when Kelly neglected to address her. And this is after Kotb gave Kelly a warm welcome to the show last month.

There has been awkward tension among Today show hosts since the announcement was made that Kelly would join the show. Former co-host Tamron Hall abruptly quit after the news came out.
Kotb came back early from maternity leave to make sure her job was safe after she knew Kelly would be joining the show. Kelly's complete dismissal of her on-air definitely didn't ease the tension.
