Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Split After 8 Months Of Marriage

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits. Her rep confirmed the news on Saturday, August 10, about the former couple splitting after less than a year of marriage.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for the singer told E! News in a statement.
"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers," the rep added. "They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
Miley, 26, shut down rumors about them splitting up last month by posting a loving tribute to Liam, 29, on their 10-year anniversary.

Liam and Miley first met on the set of their 2009 film The Last Song. They made their rep carpet debut the following year.
They secretly got hitched nearly a decade later on December 23, 2018, at her home in Nashville.
Miley posted an Instagram shot on Saturday, August 10, that didn't include her wedding ring. "Mute me if you don’t want SPAMMED," she captioned the snap.
The "We Can't Stop" singer spent some of her weekend in Lake Como, Italy with The Hills: New Beginnings star Kaitlynn Carter.
