Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich announced that she's pregnant with her third child in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, August 7. The actress had to undergo an emergency abortion just two years ago when she unexpectedly went into pre-term labor.
Milla, 43, shared a photo of her growing baby bump and opened up about her fears surrounding the pregnancy.
"Knocked up again.? After I found out I was pregnant 13 weeks ago, I had a mixture of feelings ranging between complete joy and utter terror. Because of my age and losing the last pregnancy I didn’t want to get attached to this potential baby too quickly," she wrote.
She continued, "That was obviously not fun and the last few months have been my family and I living on pins and needles waiting for a slew of different test results to come in and spending most of our time in doctor's offices. Thank goodness we’re in the clear AND we found out that we’ve been blessed with another girl!"

Milla and her film director husband Paul W. S. Anderson are parents to daughters Ever, 11, and Dashiel, 4.
The Ukranian beauty opened up about her traumatic abortion in May 2019, during the time restrictive abortions laws were being passed in states such as Georgia and Alabama.
"I myself went through an emergency abortion 2 years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe. I went into pre-term labor and was told that I had to be awake for the whole procedure. It was one of the most horrific experiences I have ever gone through. I still have nightmares about it. I was alone and helpless. When I think about the fact that women might have to face abortions in even worse conditions than I did because of new laws, my stomach turns," she revealed.
