Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert Fighting Over Custody Of Their Dogs—Who Will Get Their Pooches?
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert may not have had any children together during their marriage, but post-split, the country couple is fighting over canine custody!
During their four-year marriage, Miranda, who is a devoted dog lover and adoption advocate, adopted nine dogs with Blake, which they shared frequently on social media.
While division of their other assets—including homes, cars and horses—were figured out in their prenuptial agreement, the former duo worked out who will get each of their dogs after their split.
But one pup in particular, Emmylou, a blonde dog Miranda found in a ditch in 2012, became Blake’s favorite and an argument in their division.
“Blake and Emmylou have such a special bond— he let her sleep in bed every night,” a source told Star magazine.

But according to the insider, Blake has decided to let Miranda keep Emmylou as well as the pair’s eight other dogs in “an attempt to keep his divorce…as amicable as possible.”
“It’s been tough for him not to see Emmylou anymore, but he knows he’s not around enough to properly care for her.”
To ease his worries, Miranda “promised him that she’d take good care of Emmylou,” but Blake is still worried about his favorite pup.

“He’d be very annoyed if Miranda decided to let an assistant have the dog,” the insider said.
