"I'm so fancy... You already know' my Nonny gave me two of her fur coats!" Miranda captioned a photo of the coat on Instagram. "I definitely know where I got my love for DIAMONDS, FUR and WHISKEY!"
“Supporting an industry that electrocutes animals and in most cases, skins them alive for nothing more than their fur,” one user fired. “Just so you can post an Instagram picture. Selfish, irresponsible, uneducated, tacky, white trash and most importantly – disconnected.”
Another commenter wrote, “Animal furs support a terrible industry. If you buy a fur coat, you are promoting suffering.”

Luckily for the songstress, her fans came to her defense. “Don't let anyone get you down about wearing a family heirloom, it was sweet your nonny gave it to you and you should enjoy it,” a user wrote. “That's the cookie and the diet argument all over again.”
