Mo’Nique is welcoming the aging process with open arms. On Friday, April 19, the actress used Instagram to show off her fully grey hair and to help break the stigma surrounding getting older.
Under her selfie, Mo’Nique, 51, encouraged her followers to stop fighting and fearing the aging process. “LET IT HAPPEN!!!!” she wrote.
“Aging does not have to be unpleasant,” she continued. “I am enjoying maturing! Are you?”
Fan flooded with her comments section with compliments and messages of support. “Thank you for that caption,” one person told her. “I wish more people would understand this!”

Mo’Nique's new ‘do comes after she appeared alongside Donald Glover in his promotional commercial for his new Adidas sneaker line.
In the clip, after she pokes fun at Donald’s appearance and Hollywood lifestyle, she has him do labor-intensive tasks around her home.
