According to reports, Leakes and Williams got into a heated altercation on Sunday during their time at the expo, which they co-headlined at the Georgia World Congress Center. A source speaking to RadarOnline.com said that the drama all began when Leakes threw a little shade at Williams while giving her speech at the event.
The source said that Williams’ hubby, Kevin Hunter, had earlier asked that Leakes' dressing room be moved “as far away as possible” from Williams'. But things took a dramatic turn when Leakes decided to take a dig at Williams' speech at the expo about “10 rules every woman should live by.”
“I’m your homegirl — I live my life as an open book, and I’m happy I don’t need 10 rules to live by!” the source recalled Leakes saying, slightly knocking the talk show host, who she has been feuding with for close to two years. Leakes' comments then reportedly prompted Hunter to get extremely upset, prompting him to ask that Leakes be taken off the stage and that organizers “cut that b-tch’s mic off.”
The source added that Leakes' friend attempted to speak to Hunter, but he ultimately left the event early with Williams, with Leakes initially unaware of all that went down backstage. But other attendees have been sharing a different story, saying that Leakes and Williams actually got into a heated argument following the speech, with the pair exchanging disses and profanities during their run-in.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night, Leakes claimed that she didn’t get into an argument with Williams and had no idea what was happening while she was on stage. And she echoed these claims in a tweet she posted on Sunday that appeared to allude to Hunter’s reported meltdown!
However, despite Leakes' claims that she and Williams weren’t involved in the verbal altercation, there are reports that police were also called to diffuse the dramatic situation!
