Nicole Kidman has been publicly advocating for a season three of Big Little Lies, but that may be her own big little lie in itself. Contrary to what she's been saying, she may privately be planning her exit.
Nicole recently filmed the second season of the award-winning show with co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Zoe Kravitz.
The Boy Erased actress played a key role (along with Reese) in coming up with season two’s story line. "Reese and Nicole were involved, and they felt that there was more life in the characters. Everybody approached it from a place of love and care for these characters and this property, and again, with a little dose of skepticism along the way," HBO's President of Programming Casey Bloys told Vulture.
But a source tells OK! the curtain call on her role as Celeste Wright may have happened.

It's a far cry from the excitement the actress (whose current project Aquaman lands in theaters December 21) demonstrated earlier this year. In an Instagram post, Nicole shared a photo of herself on set with Meryl Streep, who plays her mother-in-law in the upcoming season. She wrote, "First day on set with Meryl and 'my' darling boys! #BigLittleLies."
The news also comes after Nicole revealed that her and Keith Urban’s two children would be appearing in the upcoming season of the hit show, which is expected to air in 2019.
