It's only been six weeks since their breakup, but Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are already planning top secret meet ups with each other. But here's the catch - it's not for themselves but for the sake of their dogs. Insiders tell Heat magazine that the former lovers have been privately getting together so that their matching Maltipoos can hang out. "They really don't want to traumatize the dogs by keeping them apart," a source tells the publication

Katy has had Nugget since 2015 and Orlando picked up a matching furbaby named Cheeto during the duo's year-long relationship.

"They figure why should their pets suffer just because they've broken up? Katy's dogs are like her kids, and they both treated their dogs like their babies for ages."

The insider continues, "Orly misses Nugget - they really bonded when he was with Katy. He and Katy have made sure the dogs get to see each other at least twice since the split."

"Orlando still feels bad about they way things ended," the insider concludes, adding, "so this is a way of assuaging his guilt."
