On the February 24 episode of the Bachelor, Peter Weber dropped a major bombshell to Madison Prewett. The 28-year-old confessed to having sex with another contestant after Madison explained that she wouldn’t be comfortable with the idea.
The episode picked up with Madison revealing to Peter that she’s saving her virginity for marriage. She also explained that she wouldn’t move forward with him if he gets intimate with another contestant during fantasy suite week.
“For me, personally, I wouldn't be able to say yes to an engagement and continuing to move forward if you have slept with other women,” Madison explained to Peter. “I'm not in any way trying to come across as judgmental, or hold something over your head, but at the same time, those are my expectations that I'd have in life.”
During their dinner date, Madison asked Peter if he had sex with either Hannah Ann Sluss or Victoria Fuller to which he admitted doing so. “Look, for me, I don't want this just to feel like it's all about sex right now, but this is really now a big thing for us,” Peter reasoned. “I don't know how else to do this, but I'll just be very honest, and I won't give any details. But I have been intimate. And I can't lie to you about that.”
After hearing Peter’s confession, Madison walked away from their date devastated. She explained in a confessional that she was “disappointed” with Peter’s decision. Shortly after, Peter consoled Madison and asked if there was a possibility of reconciliation.
“Look at me,” Peter said while holding Madison’s face as she cried. “Do you not think we could ever get past this? I know I'm not perfect. I know that I've hurt you, and I'm sorry for that. Please don't walk away from this. What do you need to do?”
Despite Peter’s apology, Madison continued to walk away. As Bachelor viewers might recall, Peter confessed to Madison that he was falling in love with her after learning more about her values.
