Phaedra Parks is sharing more details on the joys and challenges of raising her sons, Ayden and Dylan, as a single mom as their father, Apollo Nida, continues to serve his lengthy prison sentence for fraud!
In her new Bravo blog, Parks, 44, said she is keeping strong as she continues to adjust to life without her estranged husband around!
“Being a single parent has its daily challenges and can certainly be stressful at times. The hardest part is seeing my children grow up without the presence of their father," she said.
She continued, “It’s very important, particularly for boys, to have a positive male role model to show them how to grow into successful and responsible young men.”

But Parks added that 37-year-old Nida’s absence has encouraged her to participate in more programs and causes that help uplift and identify “positive male role models for young boys.”

“I have become very involved in the issue of positive male role models for young boys and work with communities to help them initiate programs that provide support to young boys who do not have a father in their lives,” she said.
Parks has continued to stir controversy over her decision to keep her little ones from visiting their father in prison.
