Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first visit as a couple to Australia is off to a promising start. Just moments after the soon-to-be parents arrived in the drought-stricken city of Dubbo, a much-needed rainfall fell upon the town!
On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Harry and Meghan arrived in Dubbo to visit Victoria Park. The couple was taken aback — but also thrilled — when rain began to fall.
Luckily, the pair had a set of umbrellas handy, and continued their tour despite the downpour.
At one point, they even cozied up together under the same umbrella.
When Harry went to make a speech, Meghan happily accompanied him to the podium, where she kept him covered with an umbrella she herself held.

The mayor of the town thanked Harry and Meghan for bringing “that terrible English weather here with you” in the midst of the region’s “terrible drought," People reported.
Meghan and Harry arrived in Australia on Monday, Oct. 15, the same day Kensington Palace announced the couple is expecting their first child.
During a speech in Sydney on Tuesday, Harry said they “couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby. Boy or girl. So thank you very much.”
