Prince George may be entering his “terrible two’s,” but his 2nd birthday party will be nothing short of excellent! Click through to find out the spectacular soiree Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning for the little royal!
A source told Closer magazine of his birthday on July 22: “They will be making a big fuss of George at his birthday party, which is expected to be at Anmer Hall.” Since George’s first birthday party was reportedly planned by the Middleton family party-planning company, it’s likely that his grandma Carole Middleton will do it the second time around, too.
In a column for Little London magazine, Middleton shared tips for planning a “timeless” Disney-themed party for children with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She included goods from the family site, Party Pieces, which we bet will be incorporated into George’s bash. Some of the must-haves included mouse-shaped ears, chocolate coins, crayons, mouse-shaped balloons and lots of red-and-white polka dot hats.
For the celebration, the little royal will also be coined! The Royal Mint is releasing a limited-edition, commemorative sterling silver coin with an image of St. George.
On his first birthday, Georgie had a Peter Rabbit-themed bash at Kensington Palace, which included immediate and extended family. His party was planned by the Middleton family party business.
According to Closer, William and Kate are planning to make this birthday extra special for George, who is reportedly “jealous and frustrated” since baby sister Princess Charlotte’s birth. “Both William and Kate have been making really big efforts to spend quality time with him, one-on-one,” the source reportedly said. “They also ask George to help them out with lots of tasks around Charlotte, like handing them her nappies and wipes, so he feels involved and important.”
