The photos of Princess Charlotte with Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince George were shot after the after the christening at the Sandringham Estate on July 5. Other photos included the entire royal family and Kate’s family at the Queen’s private Norfolk residence.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham. They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.
According to reports, the royal family chose Testino to shoot the baptism because he was the late Princess Diana’s favorite photographer.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose the special location as an ode to Will’s late mother, who was christened at Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham in 1961. The little royal’s middle name is also Diana.
Prince George, who will turn 2 later this month, seemed to enjoy the day—and the photoshoot!—with his family, as he played with his daddy. He was also seen checking on his baby sister as she was being pushed in a fancy pram by her mother.
Princess Charlotte, who is fourth in line to the throne, wore the same christening gown as Prince George did in 2013, designed by royal dressmaker Angela Kelly.
Middleton wore a white Alexander McQueen coat with matching hat while William opted for a suit in his favorite color.
