Oct. 4 2018, Updated 3:56 p.m. ET
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, stopped by their namesake county on Wednesday for the first time ever!

The married duo were all smiles as they arrived in Sussex, which is located in South East England.

They greeted a ton of adoring fans while there. Other activities for Meghan and Harry included visiting some historical spots and enjoying a walking tour of their namesake area.

Meghan stunned (as usual) in an all-green ensemble. The 37-year-old wore her hair the same way she did at her wedding reception back in May.

They also made it out for an engagement at Edes House, which is a historic location that dates back to the 17th century. It's used for private and corporate events, as well as being open to the public for historical tours. They signed a guestbook while there.

Meghan's had to weather a lot of storms and awkward moments over the past week. Her sister Samantha Markle is arrived in London with a goal of meeting up with her to discuss their father's health at what appears to be at any cost.

Both Meghan and Harry also dodged his ex-girlfriend Jenna Coleman at a recent Soho House event. So perhaps this trip was a breath of fresh air for the new Royal amid all the chaos going on personally.

How do you think Meghan is handing all the pressure? Sound off in the comments.
