Meghan Markle may be a glowing mom-to-be as she awaits the arrival of her and Prince Harry's first child, but over Christmas, it was Queen Elizabeth who was a radiant great-grandmother to be. The Queen gushed about her growing family and all the reasons they celebrated this year in an interview during her annual Christmas day broadcast. Read on to see what she said.
Queen Elizabeth began by addressing the people of England.
“It’s been a busy year for my family, with two weddings and two babies, and another child expected soon. It helps to keep a grandmother well occupied,” she said.
The Queen's comments come after rumors about a feud among Kate, William, Meghan, and Harry. Despite it all, the royals did look like one happy family as they made their way to their Christmas service for the holiday.
