Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps needs to get more serious about her probation. The Florida Department of Corrections accused the reality star of violating the terms of her sentence.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Luann, 53, violated her 12-month alcohol ban. “Per her New York Probation Officer, she had an alcohol test conducted on 04/21/2019,” the papers read. “She admitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago.”
After the results of her test were confirmed, Luann was given the option to “immediately enroll in outpatient treatment.” However, she declined because of her busy tour schedule.
The Bravo celebrity also opted out of an alcohol ankle monitoring device because it was “too intrusive.”

In the court papers, her Florida probation officer claimed that this wasn't the first time Luann violated her probation. “It appears to the court that she is not serious about her sobriety or the orders of this Court,” the officer stated.
However, in a statement, Luann said she's committed to her sobriety. “I take my sobriety very seriously and like many in my situation, it is a daily struggle,” she told Page Six. “I remain committed to doing whatever it takes to continue living a healthy sober lifestyle.”
The RHONY star’s probation is scheduled to end on August 28, but it is unclear how the courts will now proceed with her case.
