Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is remembering happier times. On Thursday, April 18, one day after ICE denied her husband Joe’s deportation appeal, the reality star posted a throwback family photo on Instagram.

In the picture, a much younger Joe, 46, sat at table surrounded by his four daughters as they showed off their Easter eggs.

“Joe with the girls decorating eggs,” Teresa, 46, wrote in the caption. “On days like this I love having photos.

Her followers quickly flocked to her comments section with messages of support. “So sad for your family,” one person told wrote. “My heart goes out to Joe. He's paid his dues. Enough is enough!”

“Praying for you all Teresa that he gets to come home to you and all your girls,” another user told her.

In November 2018, after a judge ordered his deportation, Joe and his legal team filed an appeal. However, on Thursday, April 18 the appeal was denied and the father of four is now one step closer to being sent back to his native Italy. According to RadarOnline.com, Joe got very emotional over the news, breaking down in tears.

“We are extremely disappointed that the Board Of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” Joe’s attorney said in a statement to American Media Inc. “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.”
