Reese Witherspoon and her 19-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, looked gorgeous on the black carpet on Saturday night, October 20. The pair, along with a handful of other big Hollywood names like Natalie Portman and Jennifer Garner, stepped out to go to 2018 LA Dance Project Gala at Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles. The Big Little Lies star looked perfectly elegant, as usual, in a black cocktail dress that featured puffy shoulder pads and a red bedazzled jeweled top. Reese kept her blonde locks pulled back into a loose bun and made her light eyes pop with a brown smokey eye look. She accessorized with a black clutch and close-toed black heels.
The 42-year-old posed with her first born, who is almost an exact replica of her younger self! Ava coordinated with her mother and opted for a little black dress as well. The ensemble had a detailed lace and beaded see-through over-coat. She kept her hair in natural waves and paired her outfit with peep-toe black heels.
Natalie, who was all smiles on the carpet, looked fabulous in a red, halter top, gown. The actress matched her look with a red velvet clutch and pulled it all together with a bold red lip.

Reese and Ava, joined the Black Swan actress and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, to pose for a photo. Ben looked dapper in a navy blue suit that he paired over a slightly unbuttoned crisp white button down shirt.
Jennifer, looked better than ever, despite her not-so-great year. The mother-of-three followed along the dark trend and wore a black gown which featured a deep-V top. She kept her brunette locks down in loose waves and accessorized with sparkly earrings and a couple of bracelets. The actress completed her look with silver strappy heels.
Long time friends, Natalie and Jennifer, laughed away the night and had no issues being photographed while they did it!
