Like mother, like daughter! Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter Ava took to Instagram on December 23 and shared a cute holiday selfie where two were seriously twinning!
The Morning Show actress, 43, and Ava, 20, had a mother-daughter date night and wore matching outfits for their evening out. "Girls night out with my favorite daughter! (ok she's my only daughter but still) ❤️," Reese captioned the adorable snap. Ava and Reese both wore dark red lipstick and black blouses for the occasion. Ava rocked a gold necklace while her mom sported silver earrings. Their blond tresses were both styled to perfection and hung on their shoulders.
The Draper James founder shares Ava and son Deacon, 16 with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. Reese is also a mom to son Tennessee, 7, whom she shares with husband Jim Toth. Ryan, 45, and Reese married in 1999 and divorced in 2007. She tied the knot with the talent agent in 2011.
Fans adored the snap and shared their thoughts in the comments section. “Where is the mother?” one user asked. “Daughter? What? I thought she was your sister!” another fan quipped. One follower pointed out that Ava looks more like Ryan. "I think I’m the only person who thinks this, but she looks so much like her dad. Hope you guys had fun!! ?" they wrote.

In May 2019, at the season two premiere of Reese's HBO drama, Big Little Lies, she and her daughter made fans do a double take on the red carpet. The duo took photos together and they both posed with their arm on their hip.
Earlier this year, Reese opened up about her life as a mom of three in a video for her media company Hello Sunshine. “I’ve been a mom since 1999,” she said. “I got pregnant when I was 22 and delivered when I was 23.” She also confessed she “was scared” after the birth of her first child. “I didn’t know what it was going to do to my job, my career,” Reese added.
