Reese has since distanced herself from her Elle Woods character and is focusing on much more serious roles nowadays.
In an interview with Vogue, the starlet had some choice words for those who typecast her. “When people underestimate me, it’s actually a comfortable place for me,” she said. “‘Oh, that’s what you think I am; well, no, I’m not.’ I’m a complex human being. I have many different shades.” Sounds a bit like Elle to us!
Her next role in Wild, a film based on Cheryl Strayed’s memoir about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, is not nearly as glamorous, though.
But, that doesn’t mean Reese doesn’t channel her inner Elle Woods here and there for a little shopping! #NeverForget
