Taping for the The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Season 7 reunion show occurred on Mar. 27, and sources on set say RHOA’s self-proclaimed queen bee NeNe Leakes didn’t fare too well during during the dramatic special!

According to an insider speaking to RadarOnline.com, Leakes “completely broke down” while attending the lengthy taping on Friday. “She was crying,” the on-set source said, “and then she walked off!”

But you may be surprised what character from this season pushed Leakes to tears! According to a second source on set, it was Dr. Jeff Gardere -- the therapist who attempted to help the housewives during the season’s failed group therapy session! “When Dr. Jeff appeared, he said something to NeNe, and it made her start crying,” said the source.

The insider added that Leakes’ dramatic tantrum lasted for close to an hour! “When she stepped out, she was gone for about an hour. It was typical housewife dramatics,” the source said.

As we reported earlier, a source speaking to RadarOnline.com said there were some major changes made to this year’s reunion show. Alcohol wasn’t allowed at the taping this year, and security was also increased. “Big burly men will be off stage, ready to intervene at even the slightest hint of physical violence,” the insider said.

Another source added that producers also informed the ladies that violence of any type would not be allowed this year, following Porsha Williams’ attack on Kenya Moore during the Season 6 reunion show.

“Producers have drawn a very hard line in the sand, and have reached out to each of the ladies making it very clear there will be no violence tolerated,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
