Gina Kirschenheiter described the night of her DUI arrest in a preview for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The mom-of-three was arrested in February and plead guilty on July 9.
“I am doing really well, which is why I’m so bummed that I made such a stupid decision to get in the damn car and drive that night,” Gina, 35, told her dad during a FaceTime call.
“I’ve been having a hell of a beginning to this year,” she told cameras.
As RHOC fans know, Gina is also been dealing with drama with her estranged husband Matthew. She currently has a restraining order against the father of her children following a domestic violence dispute.

“The night of the DUI I went to a local mom event. I was there shopping for leggings and drinking wine and I wanted to go home,” the mom-of-two explained. “I got in the car. I should of never have driven. I got pulled over.”
Gina broke down in tears on the call with her dad. “It’s my worst defining moment, ever,” she told him.
“I hope that the kids don’t think bad of me,” she added. “I want my kids to not remember what I did wrong but what I did about it after I did that thing wrong.”
Gina was issued a plea deal in her DUI case and on July 9 she plead guilty. She was sentenced to three years probation, 20 hours of community service, a six-month alcohol offender program and a $140 fine.
