Luann De Lesseps Set To Release New Tell-All Book About Her Turbulent Alcoholic Past
Luann de Lesseps is writing a new tell-all book! Almost 10 years after her first novel was published, the Real Housewives of New York City star is penning a new memoir that will dive into her 2017 arrest and her sobriety issues.
The 54-year-old does not have a publisher for her new book but is open to offers.
The cabaret singer revealed to Page Six that her tell-all is a chance to "set the record straight."
"I’ve been keeping a diary of everything that has happened to me,” Luann told the outlet.

She added, “I’ve been sober for eight months, and the therapists urge you to be honest about yourself. But many of the things written about me have been false, so this book is my chance to lay myself bare and also set the record straight.”
Luann published her first novel, Class with the Countess: How to Live with Elegance and Flair, in December 2009.
The reality star was arrested in December 2017 in Palm Beach, Florida and was charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer and resisting arrest with violence. She subsequently went to rehab but suffered a relapse shortly after.
In May, the mother of two found herself back in court for allegedly violating her probation. She confessed she failed an alcohol test and broke her sobriety by “drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago."
