Rumors of a romance between Robert and Kym started once audiences watched their undeniable chemistry progress on the dance floor. “We’re really good friends,” Robert told OKMagazine.com of his partner. “We spent a lot of time together and we’re certainly going to stay in touch.”

Although the ABC star didn’t confirm his relationship with the dancer, he did hint at a romance. “One of the great things about doing the show was getting to meet Kim,” he said. “You find out pretty quickly if you’re going to click with somebody or not.”

The couple sparked rumors again when they shared a passionate kiss during their week eight contemporary performance. “It was just part of the dance,” Robert admitted. “We didn’t overthink it like a lot of people think we did. The song was called “Champagne Kisses” and the theme was New Year’s Eve. It’s not a big stretch to make that connection. It was just part of that moment.”
