Robin Thicke had some low-key fun on his 40th birthday.
The singer spent his first birthday since losing his father Alan with his son, Julian.
Robin drove with his girlfriend April Love Geary to McDonald's restaurant on March 10th.
6-year-old Julian looked so excited to be getting fast food with daddy.

The smile-filled outing comes amid a bitter custody battle with Robin's ex-wife, Paula Patton.
The courtroom war began after Robin was accused of spanking his son too hard, allegedly causing Julian to be afraid.
As OKmagazine.com reported, things have gotten ugly between the parents, leading to tense playground exchanges and a restraining order.
However, at least for the day, father and son seemed to be having a great time!
