Robin Wright Speaks Out For The First Time About Former Costar Kevin Spacey's Assault Allegations

Robin Wright and Kevin Spacey were costars on the hit Netflix show House of Cards. Robin recently spoke to Savannah Guthrie about the sexual assault allegations brought against her former tv husband. Read on to see what she had to say.

Robin appeared on the Today Show Monday morning and revealed that, "I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened," by the news of Kevin's sexual misconduct allegations.
She went on to say of her relationship with her costar, "I don't even know how to reach him. Kevin and I knew each other between 'action' and 'cut,' and in between setups where we would giggle. I didn't know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is."

"We were co-workers, really," she explained. "We never socialized outside of work."
Kevin is facing a slew of allegations including 20 from his time as artistic director London’s Old Vic Theater. Actor Anthony Rapp was the first to come forward stating that Kevin had made inappropriate advances on him when he was just a minor.
The Usual Suspects actor is currently receiving treatment and was written off the sixth season of House of Cards.
Robin will continue her role a President Claire Underwood in the final season of the hit show.
