Eventually the two worked things out and their communication got better.
However, things weren't always easy.

Fans witnessed Ryan showed so much emotion recently.
Over the years, fans have noticed a difference in his appearance and started accusing the MTV star of using drugs.
On the recent season finale of Teen Mom OG, Ryan left fans completely horrified.
He decided to elope with his then girlfriend, Mackenzie Standifer.
And as seen on the episode, his overall appearance did not look well.
In the most shocking scene in TMOG history, Ryan fell asleep at the wheel while on his way with Mackenzie to elope.
After she turned off the GoPros, she accused him of taking a "Xanax." After getting married, Ryan entered a rehab center for 30 days.
In a statement to MTV, Ryan said, "A little over 30 days ago, I made the decision to check myself into a rehabilitation facility. I am back home now doing well, and life could not be better. Without the support of my wife and parents I would not have been able to do this. Thank you all for your well wishes."
