Selena Gomez apparently isn’t coping very well in the wake of her ex Justin Bieber’s sudden engagement to Hailey Baldwin. According to HollywoodLife.com, the “Wolves” singer was spotted downing a shot on Tuesday night, just hours after the Biebs confirmed his engagement to the 21-year-old supermodel.
The eyewitness reportedly saw Selena approach the bar at CUT inside the Four Seasons, where she ordered a shot. The insider told Hollywood Life that after quickly downing the shot, Selena left with her bodyguard.
A source previously told RadarOnline.com that Selena is supposed to avoid alcohol ever since she underwent a kidney transplant last summer. “Selena must completely avoid drugs and alcohol, and has to live by a new set of rules now,” the insider told Radar in September 2017.
However, the news of Justin’s engagement may have been too much to bear. The singer proposed to Hailey last week after about a month of dating. A pal told Hollywood Life Selena was “totally shocked and stunned” over the news, especially since she and Justin only broke up in March.

“She honestly can’t believe it. Selena didn’t think they were even that serious, so the thought of them getting married is just mind-boggling to her,” the source told the site.
Selena is no stranger to dealing with hard times. In October 2016, she entered a rehab facility in Tennessee to focus on her mental health. She also kicked off 2018 by voluntarily checking herself into a New York City-based two-week treatment program for depression and anxiety.
