Mercedes Javid Returns Home From The ICU With Her Newborn Son

Mercedes Javid has officially left the ICU after days with her newborn son Shams after experiencing an extremely stressful birth experience. Read on for all the details.
E! News reported that the Shahs of Sunset star, her newborn and husband Tommy Feight were discharged from the ICU on Saturday, April 20.
She spent three days there after welcoming Shams on Wednesday, April 17.
"Coming home from the hospital with a healthy baby boy is a dream come true. We are enjoying every single moment together," Mercedes, 46, told E! News. "Being a mom is an incredible experience so far, and Baby Shams is so precious."

"I'm on the mend and ready to embark on this new chapter in life," she continued. "We look forward to taking our first stroller outing and Tommy and I are in awe of what we have created together. A little spa & massage would be great, although for now, I cannot stand being away from baby for a second."
The road to becoming parents was not easy for Tommy, 47, and Mercedes. “The night my son was born was the worst night of my life," he revealed.
Tommy said that she had "a ton of complications" after giving birth. He shared on his Instagram Stories that his wife wouldn't have made it without the "lifesaving" doctors.
