The 28-year-old was taken into custody last month for allegedly failing to do community service and falsifying evidence that he actually finished the work.

The judge was considering sentencing the "Crank That" rapper to two years behind bars, but opted to offer leniency.

This was due to the fact the judge believed that Soulja would miss out on business opportunities if in jail for a long period of time.

In February, police were called to his house after a call that he was holding his ex-girlfriend hostage.

Soulja was accused of physical abuse and kidnapping by a woman named Kayla at his Agoura Hills home.

On March 15, the hip-hop star was arrested again for violating his parole and was taken into custody in the San Fernando Valley. The cops found ammunition and guns in his home.
