The custody battle between Southern Charm stars Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis has gotten ugly. According to the new court documents, the 56-year-old disgraced politician is seeking sole custody and is making some shocking claims about the mother of his children.
In papers obtained by The Blast, Thomas believes that the 26-year-old “abuses prescription drugs, is engaged in the use of illegal drugs, and consumes alcohol in combination thereof regularly.”
He claimed that Kathryn “has been intoxicated by the abuse of prescription drugs and/or use of illegal drugs while in sole care” of their two kids.
Then, in an even more surprising claim, Thomas said that Kathryn buy and sells prescription drugs to “friends, cast members and show producers.”
He believes that his ex is easily “overwhelmed” by their children and her drug use is “a coping mechanism for anxiety and stress.”

When Kathryn made her own court attempt at primary custody, she insisted she didn’t know about the sexual assault allegations being levied against Thomas by their former nanny. However, Thomas insisted this was a lie.
In fact, Thomas claims that Kathryn “condoned and/or encouraged Ms. Ledwell to make false allegations of sexual assault and to file a criminal complaint against him, on the heels of the ‘Me Too’ movement, for purposes of helping Mother gain custody of the parties’ minor children in a subsequent modification action.”
In addition to being granted sole custody, Thomas also wants Dennis to pay him court-mandated child support.
