'Southern Charm' Star Thomas Ravenel Requests Sole Custody Of Kids After Ex Kathryn Dennis Allegedly Fails Drug Test

Thomas, 56, alleged that on June 13 both he and Kathryn, 26, were ordered to give blood, alcohol, urine and hair samples for testing. He claimed that on June 14, "while in the possession of the children, Kathryn produced a urine test positive for marijuana, benzodiazepines and amphetamines."

The benzodiazepines and amphetamines are prescribed to Kathryn by a doctor, but she is not allowed to take any illegal drugs.

Kathryn "disputes the veracity of the June 14, 2019 urine tests because her hair test was negative," the documents stated. Thomas claimed the hair test was unreliable because Kathryn often wears wigs and hair extensions and frequently colors her natural hair.

Thomas admitted that Kathryn did test negative for marijuana in a subsequent test, but he argued that the drug could have been flushed out of her system by that time. He claimed that he has credit card statements to prove Kathryn purchased fake urine online in the past.

The former Bravo star also alleged that Kathryn's mother was largely caring for the children.
