Teresa Giudice skipped an appearance on Watch What Happens Live last night after her father was rushed to the hospital! The 74-year-old family patriarch, Giacinto Gorga, was hospitalized with pneumonia. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been taking care of her father over the past year, ever since her mother passed away in March. Click through for details on Teresa’s father’s condition.
RHONJ insider Tom Murro confirmed Giacinto’s hospitalization to RadarOnline.com. Another source added, “He was rushed to the hospital. It’s so sad, he’s a great man.”
As fans of the Bravo show know, Giacinto has not been the same since he lost his wife Antonia in March. He has been seen breaking down over her death several times this season.
Meanwhile, Teresa’s husband Joe Giudice is in the middle of serving a 41-month prison sentence for fraud. She is currently taking care of her father and her four daughters, who all live at her New Jersey mansion.

Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga even opened a family restaurant, hoping that the spot would give their father a way to stay busy and keep his mind off his late wife.
Another insider told Radar that Giacinto was moved to ICU following his arrival at the hospital, but a source informed Us Weekly that today, Teresa’s dad is “comfortable and stable.”
